Teaching Styles and Lesson Planning for the 21st Century Classroom

Teacher training programs more often than not, focus on providing their participants with a limited array of tools they can use to put together a lesson plan, find appropriate resources, create original tasks or adapt assessments/tasks passed on from one “generation” to another. The practicum is also based on the one-size-fits-all lesson planning and the assumption that all teachers should teach the same way. What these programs do not take into account is how WE learn and, directly connected to this, how WE TEACH.
This 3-day intensive course will help you identify your preferred teaching style and so, create lessons using the style that best matches your personality, without lowering or jeopardizing the quality of your teaching.
You can register for any courses that are available and still accept participants. If a course requires a prerequisite, a list of available sessions can be found under “Webinars”. Some courses will require you to take a quiz in order to register. The passing grade is 75% or higher.
If a course has reached the maximum number of participants, a wait list will be available. In order to be placed on the wait list you will have to provide your contact information (full name and email address).
Payment is due upon registration. As soon as the invoice is sent by the CE team, it must be paid within 24 hours to reserve your place.
Payment instructions are available for each session and course on the website as well as on the invoice.
Each course has different prerequisites. Read the registration requirements carefully before registration. For some courses or sessions participants will have to pass a quiz in order to register.

Once registration went through, no refund is available. A credit can be offered for other sessions, depending on individual circumstances.
Before deciding whether to register for a course or webinar or not, please check the dates and times they are offered at and confirm that you will be available for attending the sessions AND the tutorials and complete the work before the deadlines.
