ESL Game For Learning Vocabulary
Study the English vocabulary from the word list, using the audio buttons (with headphone icons) for listening to spoken English recordings. When the students think that they have learned all of the new words, they can play the ESL practice game. Choose the words only ESL quiz, the game with the audio option, or play both for ensuring vocabulary memorization. This vocabulary quiz was created primarily for students of English as a Second language. However, it could also be used for teaching vocabulary to young children from English speaking countries. Includes an English voice (with a standard English accent from England) for teaching pronunciation.
Our students ages 5-15 come from countries all over the world-Spain, Vietnam, India, Honduras, Chile, Peru, Colombia, Ecuador, Pakistan, Germany, Guatemala, Mexico, Dominican Republic, Uruguay, Italy, Macedonia, Egypt, Brazil, Puerto Rico, Jordan, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Costa Rica, Poland and Turkey. Most of our students come to us with little or no English. Click on the links at the top of the page to see what we do in class and to practice your English.
Explore the world of English vocabulary in a sound integrated guide. Touch or place your cursor over an object, word, or phrase to hear it pronounced aloud. Prove your vocabulary mastery by completing challenges.
